Subject	Timing belt gets loos over night

Message	I just did my timing belt replacement and everything is new I set the auto tensioner to 4mm turn the crank clockwise and it's tight and looked good .So next morning I go to see if everything is ok I am running whitout timing covers for the break in of the motor and noticed that the belt was loos and saw that the tensioner was only 1mm out .what did I do wrong ?
